Commune of La Morra. Unusually dark and almost impenetrable ruby. Lifted oak and sweet red and dark fruit. A little formulaic. Dense ripe fruit palate matched by bags of grainy tannin. Firmly modernist. More winemaking than vineyard. (WS)
