Tasting notes
The 2019 Bourgogne Pinot Noir mingles scents of plums and red berries with hints of petals and orange rind in an inviting mélange, followed by a medium-bodied, bright and perfumed palate that's seamless and elegant. This lovely wine is routinely among the Côte de Beaune's finest regional bottlings.

From four different terroirs, the 2019 Bourgogne Pinot Noir has a bright nose with touches of blueberry intertwined with the red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip, dark berry fruit tinged with spice dovetail into a peppery finish. Quite complex for a Bourgogne Rouge.
Four parcels very close right on the boundary of Volnay AOC between the RN74 and Volnay vineyards – an especially good strip for Bourgogne. Already quite a slope. Mass selection of old vines, 45 years at least. Cask sample. Really so like a Volnay! Transparent and lively with a firm finish. GV ? (JR)
