Good full red. Aromas of cherry, mocha and underbrush. Broad, rich and pliant, with ripe acidity framing the red fruit flavors. Finishes with substantial dusty tannins and very good length. "We had a normal vintage here, with no hail," noted Prieur.

Good bright ruby-red color. Black cherry and underbrush on the nose. Tightly wound but lively, with the tangy dark raspberry flavor showing much more intensity than the Clos des Santenots. The wine's firm acid/tannin spine gives it very good life in the mouth. Finishes with very good length.
