2020 Timorasso Montecitorio Derthona

100% Timorasso. Undergoes a 40-hour cold maceration, then fermented and aged 12 months in stainless-steel tanks. Screwcap. Mid gold colour. Pronounced petrol aromas, along with turmeric, white tea, dried lemon peel, pear and tart peach. There’s a slight nutty character as well. Vibrant acidity. Very intense, with lots of depth, complexity and grip. I’d love to taste this again in five years’ time. (JRL)
