With a rich, glossy texture, there’s slight evidence of oak on the nose, followed by the characteristic gamey, smoky notes complementing the sweet core of rich fruit – dried cherry, decayed plums. Supportive acidity adds lift and energy to this fully mature vintage of L’Apparita, with a smoky, almost prune-edged finish.
