These wines are made by Tuck Beckstoffer, who is the son of the famous viticulturist and vineyard owner in Napa, Andy Beckstoffer. Starting with the 2016 Red Blend Dancing Hares, it's made from 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4.5% Petit Verdot, and 0.5% Merlot. It offers a rich, flamboyant style in its black cherry, blueberry, spice box, dried earth, and chocolate-laced aromas and flavors. Rich, flamboyant, concentrated, and layered, it has a rock star level of mid-palate depth, building tannins, and one serious finish. This is pure Napa Valley goodness to drink over the coming 20 years or more.

The 2016 Dancing Hares has turned out nicely. Blackberry jam, mocha, spice, sweet French oak, leather and tobacco are all given an extra kick of volume in this sumptuous, alluring wine from Tuck Beckstoffer. Plush and resonant in the glass, with tons of creaminess the 2016 has a lot to offer today. It should drink well for another decade or so.
Blended of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4.5% Petit Verdot, and 0.5% Merlot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Dancing Hares Proprietary Red is boldly scented of crème de cassis, mocha, plum preserves and dried lavender with touches of black olives, spice box, Sichuan pepper and cigar box. Full-bodied with bags of black fruits and exotic spices on offer in the mouth, it has a firm yet velvety frame and just enough freshness, finishing very long.
The 2016 Dancing Hares is another dark, fleshy wine from Tuck Beckstoffer. The 2016 has attractive elements of freshness and structure to play off the intense fruit nicely. Mocha, bittersweet chocolate, spice and plum add to the wine's flamboyant, ample feel.
