Tasting notes
Castiglione Falletto. Tasted blind. Lustrous mid ruby with orange tinges. Fresh cherry fruit on the palate that is almost a little racy. Transparent with fine, tannic power on the finish. Long and fragrant and super-elegant. (WS)

No single crus produced in this year, instead the best lots of each were selected during a blind tasting, regardless of how tiny the volume of the final blend would turn out. Subdued, finely spiced and minerally with fine, ripe fruit that has yet to come out fully. Very compact and closed, yet a little vibrant and gorgeous. Long, really fine polished tannins. This is not ready by far. With aeration comes more and more pretty cherry and raspberry perfume. Super-elegant and with tactile fireworks on the finish. (WS)
