Score 91/100 · Drink 2017-2025, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2015

Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2012 tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Meursault Blagny 1er Cru La Genelotte has a very attractive nose with plenty of fruit intensity: citrus peel, a touch of tropical fruit, minerals and pine cones. This already boasts impressive delineation. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry with citrus peel, dried honey and a pinch of white pepper. There is good weight in the mouth and well-integrated oak, the finish gently fanning out. This is a very capable Meursault that seems to be evolving with real style in bottle and with potential to repay cellaring.
