Score 16/20 · Drink 2019-2022, Walter Speller, jancisrobinson.com, Nov 2019
Aged for nine months in concrete. Lustrous mid ruby with orange tinges. Savoury and spicy rather than fruity and almost a little reductive and clearly in need of aeration. The reduction is caused by some re-fermentation in bottle. Savoury blackberry fruit with a wild edge and powdery tannins. Definitely not for purists but this really grows on you. Should benefit from decanting. (WS)
