Quite intense and hazelnutty on the nose. Good depth and intensity. Very sleek. Could already be drunk but the fine tannins suggest a certain longevity too. Grapefruit on the finish. (JR)

Established in 2011, Le Grappin is a micro-négociant based in Beaune run by Emma and Andrew Nielsen. Following an epiphany drinking a bottle of Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche in 2006, Australia- born Nielsen gave up a highly successful career working in advertising to become a winemaker in Burgundy.
