Score 17.5/20 · Drink 2015-2037, Jancis Robinson MW, Oct 2024

After the trials of the wet 2011 season, 2012 was a return to a more ‘normal’ dry summer and long, warm ripening season. Tasted from magnum. Dense black-red; dark aromas of woody spice, iodine and liquorice; dense and youthful black-berry fruit, still; lovely drive and weight but finishes with elegance and poise. Has plenty of life and room for development. (MA)
