A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, the 2016 Château Le Chatelet offers a youthful, vibrant bouquet of black and blue fruits, classy oak, graphite, and violets. It's ripe, upfront, and beautifully fruited, with a plump, mouthfilling style that's a joy to drink. Nevertheless, it has plenty of underlying structure, ripe tannins, and good acidity, all pointing to it evolving nicely.
