Cru Bourgeois. Lean and lively. Still quite youthful and dry but sleek. Not nearly such good value as stablemate Tayet 2011. (JR)

11% Merlot, 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot. Deep crimson. Sweet dark fruit and a touch of toasty oak. Mulberries and blueberries – doesn't seem like a Cab-dominant wine on the nose. Then it is leaner on the palate than the nose predicted. A little tart on the finish. (JH)
