Tasting notes
A rocking base cuvee, the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape offers a ripe, sexy, concentrated and full-bodied style to go with classic notes of fresh black fruits, roasted herbs and hints of crushed rocks. I love its mid-palate, and it's going to keep for another 10-15 years.

Inky purple. Sexy, perfumed scents of black raspberry, cherry compote and potpourri. Broad, fleshy and sweet, offering lush, edge-free black and blue fruit flavors. This upfront, creamy wine is delicious right now.
Grenache Blanc 50%, Clairette 30%, Roussanne 20%. 20% in barrique. Grown in Le Crau. Rich and blossomy and flattering. Very round and yet with intriguing complexity. Still quite chewy. (JR)
