This is the property of Marie-Laure Lurton and the wine is produced according to the strict sustainable viticultural practices of Terra Vitis. Majority Merlot. Almost jammy berry fruit on the nose, but it becomes very dry and savoury on the palate. Plenty of acid and tannin gives a powerful but balanced structure. Potent and expressive. (RH)

22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 63% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Dark still-blueish purple. Very light nose. Austere fruit and very marked astringency from Marie-Laure Lurton. A gold medal winner in Paris but I found it a bit thin. (JR)
