1999 Campaccio

Rich and full is proprietor Roberto Guldener's 1999 Campaccio, a blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 12 months in primarily French oak (the remainder was American). A sumptuous bouquet of smoke, vanilla, tobacco, black currants, and sweet leather is followed by beautifully-textured wine with medium to full body, ripe fruit, fine purity, and a long, layered, seamless finish.
