Dark red with some evolution. Some real interest and energy here. Tannins well in retreat and tertiary aromas. GV (JR)

Fresh and dense – very refreshing. Very evolved. Ready to drink, but could be useful for British Airways, if not for a personal cellar. (JR)

Rather a grey tinge to the crimson. Quite a lively, fresh nose. Looks as though there is lots of alcohol. Sweet start and then a bit dilute and loose. Not trying very hard. (JR)
About the producer

Fourcas Dupre
This estate saw a transformation when Guy Pagès bought it in 1970. His work, driving quality higher with increasing attention to detail and passion, has been continued by his son Patrice, who took over in 1985.
