Tasting notes
Deep salmon. Off dry. Solid and assertive. Ok balance but a bit stolid. (JR)

62% Pinot Noir, 8% Meunier, 15% Chardonnay, 15% red wine, all from Bouzy. Winemaker Dominique Demarville has been investing considerably in red wine production facilities. Confident pale rose colour. Very racy, crackling, pacey wine with an attractively refreshing green streak. I tasted this wine immediately after Dom Pérignon Rosé 2003 and it withstood the comparison well, albeit in a completely different style and considerably more advanced in its evolution. There is lovely energy to this wine which certainly could be enjoyed without food, even if Demarville likes it with lobster, lamb and even beef. Quite persistent. (JR)
Pale crimson, lots of blue still here. Not much nose and very frothy. Strawberries and a bit dull. (JR)
