Mid-gold colour and there's more oxidation on the nose than you would expect. The palate has delicious dried fruit, floral elements and saltiness but much more bruising than is ideal for Manzanilla. Much more Pasada in style. (RH)

Round, complete, tangy, long, refined, delicious. Another strong showing from this faultless range. (RH)

Vibrant, vital, wonderful fruit – green citrus, apple, bread. Loads more complexity than most. A standout. (RH)

Saca 2011. Bodega Miguel Sánchez Ayala. Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Burnished copper. Very pure and complex. Montrachet-like? Very delicate! Much more sophisticated texture than the ‘I Think Manzanilla en Rama’ wines. Tight and tense. (JR)
