This small Pessac-Léognan estate has been owned by the Garcin family since 1996. Today the wine comes from just 0.8 hectares of the oldest vines, all farmed biodynamically, producing a vibrant and pure style of Bordeaux that ages beautifully.
Ch. Branon dates back to the 18th century, but was purchased by Sylvaine Garcin-Cathiard – owner of Ch. Haut-Bergey and sister of Smith Haut Lafitte’s Daniel Cathiard – in 1996. In Léognan with a gravel slope facing south-southwest, the estate is half a kilometre east of Malartic-Lagravière.
