Ch. Guillot-Clauzel

This small estate, just a stone’s throw from Le Pin, is one of the most exciting addresses in Pomerol. Ch. Guillot-Clauzel produces an elegant style of Pomerol and, with Guillaume Thienpont running the property in 2018, it is one you’ll want to keep an eye on.

This property is owned by the Clauzel family, who previously owned Ch. Beauregard. The family sold Ch. Beauregard in 1991, but retained these vines and created Ch. Guillot-Clauzel. Today it’s owned by Etienne Clauzel, who appointed Guillaume Thienpont – who makes the wine at Vieux Château Certan and oversees the vineyards at Le Pin – to manage the property in 2018.
