The Languedoc has its icons – and Laurent Vaillé stands among the most influential. Trained under some of France’s most exacting masters, including Jean-François Coche-Dury, Gérard Chave and Eloi Dürrbach, Vaillé forged a singular path at Grange des Pères, crafting wines of extraordinary finesse, depth and longevity that reshaped perceptions of the region.
Situated on the famed Le Tourtou hillside near Aniane, in the Terrasses du Larzac, the domaine’s Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon and Counoise vines thrive on limestone-rich soils across varied exposures, with certain parcels exceeding 60 years of age. Yields are meticulously restricted – often as low as 10–25 hl/ha – ensuring concentration, precision and expressive terroir character, with remarkable ageing potential. Scarce, instantly recognisable and fiercely allocated, the wines have achieved cult status among collectors worldwide.
This evening offers a rare opportunity to experience the Domaine across multiple decades, tasted in parallel and in proper context.
