RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2000 Kuleto Estate - Cabernet Sauvignon
Rather yummy. Big enough for a chili dusted steak served with a mushroom chili sauce. Highly recommend!

(Tasted Aug 25, 2009)

2007 Kuleto Estate - Chardonnay
This is an elegant estate chardonnay. Pale yellow in color with aromas of yellow apples, sauteed pears, green almonds and cream. With a little time in the glass, notes of jasmine orange flower and grilled pineapple appear. Tremendous length

2001 Ridge - Grenache Lytton Estate
The outstanding 2001 Syrah Lytton Estate (include 1% Viognier in the blend) boasts a saturated purple color as well as uplifting aromas of blackberries, black currants, licorice, vanilla, and forest floor. Dense, with medium to full-body, supple tannin, good viscosity, and a long finish, this beauty will drink well for 7-8 years

(Tasted Mar 2, 2009)

2002 Ridge - Zinfandel Pagani Ranch Late Picked
Intense and full-bodied, with firm acid and well-defined tannins.

(Tasted Mar 2, 2009)

2003 Ridge - Geyserville
76% Zinfandel; 18% Carignane; 6% Petite Sirah. Geyserville bottlings typically have an uncanny knack for being very ripe, very deep and quite friendly at one and the same time, and this rich, fully extracted effort is all of the above. It brings together loads of brambly, blackberry fruit, creamy oak and subtle notes of dark chocolate, and it sports just enough tannin to give spine to its essentially supple style. Its accessible richness is bound to tempt early drinking, but, as experience has repeatedly taught with this property, the wine will develop famously for a good many years yet.

Mass Cellar Updates
Anyone have any experience doing a mass cellar update?  We recently moved and had to completely reorganize our small collection...now we'd like to upload it in VinCellar without having to go bottle by bottle to assign a new...
