RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. 2007 BV - Tapestry Reserve
The 2006 Proprietary Red Wine Tapestry Reserve (a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot) is the finest example of this cuvee I have ever tasted. Flowery, licorice-infused, cassis notes intermixed with forest floor and lead pencil shavings are followed by a layered, impressively built wine with real opulence, lots of red and black fruits, low acidity, and lush tannin. It should drink well for 15+ years.

2007 Domaine Mas du Bouquet - Vacqueyras
90 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby. Rich blackberry and kirsch aromas are complicated by candied flowers, anise and garrigue, with a sexy note of cola coming up with air. Sweet dark berry flavors coat the palate, firmed by fine-grained tannins that are quickly absorbed by the fruit. This sweet, long wine is already very alluring." (01/09) 89-91 points Robert Parker: "The general style is one of fruity, good quality, commercially-styled wines that represent very good value, and are immediately appealing. All of the 2007s are fruit-laden, lush, and best drunk in their first 3-5 years of life. The sumptuous Domaine Le Mas du Bouquet, 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 10% Mourvedre, is aged in tank prior to early bottling" (02/09) Purity and pretty is what comes to mind when I taste this wine. Make no mistake, Mas du Bouquets 2007 Vacqueyras has a generous dollop of forward fruit generosity that we have all grown to love with this superb vintage. However, delicate flora-matic and sassafrass nuances remind me of a lighter and brighter wine, without having to use ponderous adjectives like vanilla, baking spices or toasty, toasty and more toasty. Chestnut-stuffed baked chicken or a generous serving of sautéed mushrooms served over grilled garlic bread are highly recommended!

2007 Napa Cab Vintage - Classic Year, HOLD

(Tasted Oct 23, 2010)

2007 Hess Collection - Cabernet Sauvignon Allomi Vineyard Estate
2007 Napa Cab - Classic year - Drink NOW Here's a gutsy, fruity Cabernet. It fills the mouth with juicy raspberry, cherry, and blackberry flavors and hints of chocolate. Nothing subtle, just a dry, rich, red wine for drinking now.
