RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. 1996 Heitz - Cabernet Sauvignon Martha's Vineyard
Glad I waited for a special occasion. Simply a wonderful bottle of wine. Probably the perfect time to drink it, all tannins were gone, and it was just velvety smooth. A bit of fruit, long legs, but actually not jammy or thick in any way

2007 Florane - Cotes du Rhone Villages Visan Terre Pourpre
Thes is really something special. It has a body and complexity that is very different from most french Rhone blends. It has hints of florals and berries, and a wonderful long soft finish

2000 Cheval Quancard - Chateau Tour St Joseph
If you ever find some, buy it all. This is a truly amazing wine. When you factor in the cost it is unfathomable. This drinks like a complex, balanced Bordeaux right up with the top-end premier cru's.

1998 Zonnebloem - Cabernet Sauvignon
Really amazing. Very deep garnet to inky color. Very full body without any fruit or heat overload. Tannins have softened to an almost silky experience, and the finish is long and pleasant. Needs about 45 minutes to decant to really open up well.

2005 Beaumont
Day 1: Deep blood-red color, Soft tannins, nice long finish and plenty of body. Good fruit and slight acidity. Really enjoyable to drink now, but I bet this will be stunning with time in the cellar. Will try again tomorrow, and plan to store until 2012 or so
