Pale color. Nose dominated by lemon and stony minerality. Dense and sweet but quite austere, with an impression of creamy depth countered by a suggestion of grape skins. Finishes very firm and austere. Raphael Coche noted that this was the estate's hottest sector and lowest yield in 2010, which led to "a lot of concentration of the skins, and a tannic quality like the 2005." Forget about this one for at least seven or eight years.Author: Stephen Tanzer
