Professional Reviews For This Wine

Vinfolio | Rating: 96

When tasted, this wine had exceptional poise; a finely balanced delicate powerhouse scented with roses, cherry and pomegranate. The palate brought all the flavor components together in a silky continuum of pomegranate, anise, mineral, dark cherry and ripe black raspberry.

About This Producer

Radio Coteau works exclusively with small, cool-climate vineyard sites in western Sonoma County. Winegrower Eric Sussman's first vintage at the helm was 2001, after spending the years prior gaining experience with organic winegrowing in Washington and French winemaking in Bordeaux and Burgundy. Learning from the masters at the Chateaux Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1995 and Domaines Comte Armand and Jacques Prieur in 1996, Eric returned stateside with a strong commitment to producing wines with a true "sense of place." The winery crafts Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Zinfandel, primarily from designated sites.
