Professional Reviews For This Wine

International Wine Cellar | Rating: 93

($75) Good full red-ruby. Sexy aromas of raspberry, mocha, minerals and nutty oak. Fat, lush and seamless, with impressively dense flavors of dark fruits, mocha and nutty oak lifted by subtle finishing minerality. The tannins are substantial but sweet, and this very rich, layered merlot retains freshness on the very long finish.

This is a very distinctive Merlot...is so delicious in such different ways although its clearly that its profound chocolate in both...1st in the nose and then in mouth makes to love it. Then other layers of black fruit, a hint of blueberry and nice and soft touch of toasty oak. This wine has an excellent grip and that wonderful chocolate makes you addictive to a continue sip. Highly reccomnd it and very good value.

Wine Varietal: Merlot

Merlot shares many of the same profile descriptors as Cabernet Sauvignon including plum, blackberry, chocolate and mocha. Bordeaux's Right Bank, such as in Pomerol and St.-Emilion, is the traditional home to this red grape, but it is grown all over the world. Merlot is either bottled on its own or is blended with other red grapes.
