Professional Reviews For This Wine

Vinfolio | Rating: 97

By selecting the top three barrels from the vintage, the partners are able to coax some noticeably extra rich characteristics into the bottle. Violet and seville orange-infused chocolate dance around the nose. The mouth entry is sublimely textured - round but powerfully focused, showing finely integrated espresso, black currant, soft date and lush sun-warmed yellow plum.

About This Producer

Barry and Tracy Schuler and Bill and Dawnine Dyer partnered to produce a wine from the enigmatic Meteor Vineyard in Coombsville, a 500-foot elevation site that is littered with water-worn round stones, evidence of past unique geological activity. The former chairman of AOL, Schuler first visited Napa thirty-five years ago and knew he would one day return to develop a vineyard.. Fruit from Meteor also goes to several elite small family owned producers including Favia, Arietta, Lail and Vineyard 29.
