($135) Medium red. Riper aromas of redcurrant, plum and leather, complicated by a whiff of apricot. Ripe, sweet and broad, showing more weight and structure than the winery's basic bottling, but also a strong impression of soil character. Finishes fleshier and longer, with sweet, building tannins that coat the front teeth. (Winebow, New York, NY)

Not sure what the haters have on this but this is beautiful, classic BdM goodness, lovely red fruits, stewed cherries, herbs, and meat. The tuscan sun is plenty present. Tied for #2 of the day for me. Tannins are so soft, so fun and easy to drink but light on its feet as well.

Medium bodied and becoming fully integrated. This brunello boasts flavors of dried herbs, blue fruits, allspice and a tannic grip. Capable of further bottle age but if you like em on the fruity side, drink up.
