Professional Reviews For This Wine

Wine Spectator | Rating: 90

Impeccable balance, depth and concentration, combining rich, dense currant, anise, sage and berry flavors with a mix of cedary oak and spice. Finishes with a push of fruit and ripe, firm tannins.

($68) Good ruby-red. Perfumed aromas of cherry, minerals, bitter chocolate and licorice.Supple, dense, broad and dry, with good restraint to its redcurrant, cherry and floral flavors. Nicely tactile and mouthcoating but light on its feet.Finishes subtly aromatic, with a fine dusting of tannins.

Wine Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is perhaps the world's best known red variety, with its full-bodied, intense profile. An offspring of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, it is the primary grape of Bordeaux's Left Bank (Medoc and Graves regions) and the Napa Valley, but can be found growing all over the world. Typical descriptors for Cabernet Sauvignon are cassis, cedar, mint, black pepper, eucalyptus, and pencil lead.
