Professional Reviews For This Wine

Wine Advocate | Rating: 92

This earthy, Graves-like style of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon offers hints of wet stones, tobacco leaf, blackberries, white chocolate, black cherries and a touch of oak. A brooding overall style is apparent in this big, hillside-grown Cabernet. Give it another 2-4 years of bottle age and enjoy it over the following 15.

Offers a ripe, zesty core of red plum and black cherry fruit that's elegant and delicate. Ends with fine-grained tannins.

Wine Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is perhaps the world's best known red variety, with its full-bodied, intense profile. An offspring of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, it is the primary grape of Bordeaux's Left Bank (Medoc and Graves regions) and the Napa Valley, but can be found growing all over the world. Typical descriptors for Cabernet Sauvignon are cassis, cedar, mint, black pepper, eucalyptus, and pencil lead.
