Professional Reviews For This Wine

International Wine Cellar | Rating: 85-88

Full medium red. Aromas of blueberry and raspberry. Juicy and gutsy, but a bit tougher than the village wine and less sweet. Finishes with a slight dry edge.

Only mid depth of ruby with a wide pale rim – just very slightly more orange than the 2000. Depth, nuance and sheer vitality on the nose. Wonderful richness and completeness on the palate. For the first time in this backwards vertical we have real substance and some development. This is pretty serious stuff, certainly not relying on simple sweet fruit. Dances and deliberates too. Great balance. Dry finish.
