Bright and smooth red fruits, great mouthfeel, almost syrupy but not in a bad way. Had some cocoa notes, tannins fairly light so drink soon. Very delicious for the price point.

Dense, purple-red with bright mauve flecks. The nose on this Rhone-style blend is full of Syrah characteristics; black fruit, fennel, and a inky meatiness lurking in its depths. The palate actually displays some of the red fruit notes of the Grenache component along with very well balanced acidity. Excellent minerality for a wine at this price point.

definitely a bit young at this stage....the fruit needs to open up a bit more. But nothing at all to dislike. A very tasty blend, dark & rich, proving that you can get very good rhone style wines in the US, letting the fruit do most of the work.

Very solid, enjoyable wine that's versatile with a lot of foods and just tastes darn good. Good acidity and a nice, solid core of baked fruit, roasted herbs and pepper and spice.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
