Low US Retail is updated twice a month and excludes outlier listings. Detailed listings are sourced daily from our partner, Global Wine Stocks, and may include outliers. Note that you can use the 'Report a problem' link which appears after clicking on any individual listing to notify our content team and partner of incorrect wine matches.
Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyer’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

Popped and poured. Young, white Burgundy with aromas of ash / smoke that never quite blew-off for me; also some fruit and flowers on the nose. Juicy flavors with good balance of fruit and acid.

Henri Boillot is on amazing form. He picked the whites early, beginning on the 3rd September and has been rewarded with some of the best white wines of the vintage. His reds achieved a large crop for him, just 32hl/ha! If the whites are pure and refined, the reds are rich and powerful due to the low yields and are recommended to those who like richly flavoured Burgundy. Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Clos de la Mouchère £255 Intense, fine-flavoured Puligny from old vines. Superb balance: rich yet fine, ripe yet elegant. Outstanding. One of the white wines of the vintage. 2012-2018. [The Wine Society]

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
