An absolutely incredible, well-balanced wine that was good to go after a brief decanting. Incredibly smooth finish and a beautiful nose.

Seamless, drinking scary good right now. Well integrated and ripe tannins should allow this to age for many, many years. 92% cab sauv, 8% cab franc, 100% French oak of which only 65% was new wood. Color: deep purple red, with red edges Nose: black currants, black cherry, graphite/pencil lead, mocha and savory mint note Palate: zesty black cherry and currants, licorice, seamless palate, superb length, ripe and exceptionally integrated tannins, and a good dose of acidity round out the experience.
