Low US Retail is updated twice a month and excludes outlier listings. Detailed listings are sourced daily from our partner, Global Wine Stocks, and may include outliers. Note that you can use the 'Report a problem' link which appears after clicking on any individual listing to notify our content team and partner of incorrect wine matches.
Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyerÂ’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

Double decanted for four hours. Tight as a drum. I was afraid of this. The last bottle I tried was very awkward. This one was just locked up. Obviously going through a dumb phase. It started to open a little after six hours. The best part of this at the moment is the finish, which goes on for 45+ seconds. You can tell the stuffing is there. The first bottle I tried two years ago was one of the best Cali pinots I've ever had. I think this will get back there. Give it 24 hours or a year.

Off bottle or going downhill - dark, opaque, brooding, not a ton of fruit or earthiness, got a bit better over time but that's not saying much

Super ripe pinot. Acidity is lacking a little. This is well made and delicious but seems a bit clumsy right now.

Big fruit, dark and ripe cherry. High alcohol- 14.7% makes this wine however "hot" and alcoholic diminishing the fruit balance and making the wine less food friendly. Too high in alcohol for my taste- an unfortunate trend.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
