Starts out bone dry and closed. As it opens you get spicy dark fruit and mild tannins. Dynamite barbera that is perfect right now.

From the winemaker: This wine is enticing now in its youth, with its bright fresh cherry fruit aromas and framed by toasted oak. It also has acidity and some depth to the flavors that bode well for aging over the next 5-7 years. Food pairing: goat cheese stuffed pork tenderloin ALC 14.6% pH 3.52 Residual sugar: dry
