Lot's of berry. Drank it with Hickory smoked bbq ribeye steak. I'll definitely buy more of this. $10 from Costco.

Dark cherry-red with a crimson rim. Aromas of warm blueberry cobbler, cinnamon, and clove on the nose, this wine has a fine balance of copious ripe fruit with light mineral influences and herbal spices, a trademark of the region. The acidity is in tune with the fruit, and the tannic structure is soft, yet silky, with fine integration. Juicy red and black currant flavors show impressive fruit sweetness with admirable restraint. Showing superior approachability now, this wine has fantastic mouthfeel and will drink nicely for the next 4 to 6 years.

Not as impressive as the other C.H. wines that i have enjoyed, but still good stuff for 11 or 12 bucks! Fresh and fruity, not too complex, ready to drink

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
