Dark berries, chocolate aroma. Dominated by the flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon and a lovely blend with Sangiovese. Enjoyed with Roast chicken and spinach.

This wines needs air. Opened it in the afternoon, then poured through vinturi about 4 hours later and it was excellent. Fruit forward wine with good tannins. Even though it's only 20% sangiovese, it really comes through. This wine might need a little more time to reach full potential.

Leather and dried flower on the nose; dark fruit with cassis and spice notes...well received by all four diners/drinkers. Agreed that it was well-balanced and approachable now; I thought it had plenty of backbone and one could reap benefits from laying it down a few more years.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
