I loved this wine. Full bodied. Black fruits. Great QPR.

Vertical tasting - 07, 08, 10. 08 seemed to be the favorite for most of the people. All were good, age worthy, color and clarity were perfect. I still think the best wine for the money.

Very jammy red fruit on the nose, a bit harsh and jumbled on the palate with a significant hit of raspberry jam on entry. Full bodied, but lacking focus mid-palate. Letting it air out for a few hours only diminished the harshness, but didn't show more focus. If I had another bottle I probably wouldn't touch it until 2018, but I wouldn't be surprised if the time would just turn the sharpness into flab with continued lack of focus.

This is very tannic and flavorful. It's a classic Napa cab, the flavors are in balance, and it pairs beautifully with grilled steak or lamb. Beware: at 15.5% alchohol, it's a butt-kicker; but, at $14.99 a bottle at Costco, it delivers the goods and is a great value. Best to decant. Drink now through 2018.

A great value wine at 19.99. Has all what you expet in a CAB for a Tuesday meal.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
