dark straw in color, the aromas of pear and apple jump out of the glass. The banana creme pie and vanilla notes are pleasing on the palate with the right amount of oak influence. This is california style without being over oaked.

The wine, greenish gold in color, could be most characterized as being buttery with a floral aroma giving way to hints of a grassy citrus close. I would not categorize the wine as a full bodied Chard, but that does not take anything away from a strong finish. The wine should be consumed over the next 2 to 3 years
