Some development on the edge. Was slumbering, took over 3 hours to wake up, and even then it wasn't the most exuberant showing. There was a strong mineral-like element that I liked that came through the cherry and rose aromas, but there wasn't much tertiary action going on to match the advance shown in the wine's color and the fruit wasn't up front anymore. Overall, it was a good, but not great bottle of wine. If I had more bottles I'd check back in two years from now.
