Soft and elegant, creamy tannins, lovely finish. Tart red berry fruits, some vanilla and medium oak. Love the vegetal qualities on the nose. Still quite fresh, should hold up for a little while longer but drinking nicely at the moment.

Very smooth and not very tannic. Not a long finish. Strong nose of earth and tobacco, but only lighter fruits (cherry mainly) in taste.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
