14.5% alcohol - Aroma: sexy nose of dark cherry, raspberry and racy licorice Palate: soft, harmonious round entry with floral hints of lilac and honeysuckle, along with nicely structured bright cherry and cranberry elements Impression: a solid wine for mid term drinking - the finish shows plenty of the the characteristic 'Rutherford Dustâ? that gives the wine much charm

Very Nice! It has a soft cherry smell followed by a hint of smooth chocolate. The taste is very balanced! It has a burst of bright cherries up front, followed by some dusty cigar like qualities and finishes with some smooth tannins. After decanting for a couple hours, I am starting to get some little green vegetable notes on the end. It's very good and well worth the price of admission.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
