Amazing wine! Berries on the nose, but notes of cassis, blackberry, and graphite pencil when tasting. Incredible finish, and only then do the tannins become apparent. A classic wine that will be even better in 5 years.

Ruby red with faint edges. Nose of vanilla, black fruits. Body filled with cassis, raspberry, toasted oak, and silky smooth. Not as layered and rich as we remember. Perfectly balanced. Sweet tannins were part of a long finish.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
