This was a great way to have the final bottle of my 2004 San Roman. Delicious dark blue fruits, almost candied in a way, integrated with vanilla from oak, gliding effortless over the palate with tannins continuing to soften. Went so well with the roasted pork loin stuffed with sausage and prunes. Extremely dark purple, almost black, with a terrific floral nose. Definitely a sexy wine that pleased the crowd. You will be missed, '04 San Roman!
