cherry cola, briar patch, and some syrah like nuances. Well balanced, not overly hot and smooth finish for a 10 year old zin. Had over three nights and it was still going strong.

Dark purple. Still very fresh and fruity. Drinking beautifully. Simple wine with a long finish. A mélange of berries. No secondary flavors of aromas

Nicely concentrated zin but remains light on its feet. Core of ripe blackberry fruit with notes of black raspberries and sweet red berries. Medium bodied but extremely flavorful. Tannins are sweet and rounded. Gives way to a plush, palate coating finish.

Deep, rich, even hedonistic rambly fruit, on the heavy side, with lots of glycerol, but you can tell the winemaking played a hand in keeping a semblance of balance.

Longer finish than previous vintages. Young; should develop into a well-rounded wine.

Big Turley wine you would expect, with load of ripe fruit, but surprisingly resistant from the raisining that some old-vine zin shows. Nice.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
