Low US Retail is updated twice a month and excludes outlier listings. Detailed listings are sourced daily from our partner, Global Wine Stocks, and may include outliers. Note that you can use the 'Report a problem' link which appears after clicking on any individual listing to notify our content team and partner of incorrect wine matches.

This was lovely. Full, supple, plenty of fruit, still nice tannic structure. Black berry fruits, some nice cherry notes, a bit of leather. Long lasting. Perfect with steak. I do not think that this is getting any better, but certainly has several years left.

A deep red hue with some brownish tinges and thin but substantially colored legs. Very full and immediately pleasing aromas of roasted herbs, chocolate, earth, iodine, game, and baked cherry. Perfectly balanced with a considerable depth of richness and fine acidity. Excellent length. Substantial tannins but they are smooth and layered. A blend of 41% Merlot, 39% Cabernet, 16% Malbec, and 4% Franc that was raised in French oak barrels (19% new). A very impressive first effort from this new producer.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
