Note that you can use the 'Report a problem' link which appears after clicking on any individual listing to notify our content team and partner of incorrect wine matches.
Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyerÂ’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

This wine is showing a wonderful balance of ripeness and grace. Nose is very complex with violet floral characters, earth tones, leather, sweet tobacco and elegant cherry, oak and cassis notes. Flavors add a nice touch of pepper, cocoa and broad black fruits. This is a classic Bordeaux blend where the nose speaks of cabernet franc and the flavors speak of cabernet sauvignon. Should age well.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
